The reason I am writing this post on “The biggest mistake for your e-business” is because I myself have made this mistake and I see others do it also. I want to help you not to waste your time and money.
If someone else could do something better than you they would. If you meet a web designer or SEO who will do a job for you, ask yourself why do they not have their own business? It is a fair question.
The answer is they can not. If they could they would be rich and not be providing a service in most cases. Lets look at people who make money off online entrepreneurs. They are all bright people mind you, and very creative but this is about money and business and we have to look objectively at this situation.
People who can not help your e-business
Web designer are anti-marketers. They sure make pretty site, some that are ‘way cool’ but they can only live by writing code and making sites. If they knew about SEO and how the Internet worked, they would be developing their own site and not spending time doing it for a fee for others. The worst are flash designers. Most of these people are counter productive to your efforts.
Artists – They understand nothing about the Web and often are starving artists.
People who write ‘How to make money online’ sites and material. – Most are fluff and are not radical enough to penetrate the real secrete to making money online, they are a greedy group with some exceptions and will not share their real secrets. However, if they do others do not believe it can be that simple.
SEO people- Best group, but charge a lot because they know what they are doing, mostly, but not always. Many talk buzz words like social media but do not have a lot of traffic themselves, or at least useful traffic. So this can be hit or miss.
Coders – Geeks that can help, but often get too complex and will build something only they can maintain,
Copywriters- Again OK, but hard to find a good one, at a good price, your better writing your own content as it comes from your heart.
Spend your time and money the way you want. What you really need is a coach. Someone who has done all this before and can show you how to get your e-business going. This person will basically coach you on writing and how to write for the web. At this time the best way to make money is to get traffic, here are the steps:
E-marketing 101
1. Choose a domain.
2. Set up a WordPress site.
3. Get the right plugins (related posts and platinum SEO pack).

That is it. Do not try to manipulate search engines in anyway as they are too smart and you will get a penalty. Simply focus on writing. This writing is best if it is done by you as it is your site. Every minute and penny you send doing something besides writing quality useful creative unique content, then you are one step further from your goal. That is the biggest mistake for your e-business.
